Honey Pie Hives and Herbals is celebrating 24 years in business this year. They started their honey and herb business in the spring of 2000.
The mysterious and fascinating honey bee is a constant source of inspiration to them. Many of the same flowers that the bees collect nectar from can be used in herbal preparations to ensure health and well-being in humans.
Honey Pie Hives & Herbals keep bees and grow herbs on their farm in Prince Edward County, Ontario. They combine beeswax and propolis with herbs to make natural healthful products. They are a small, farm-based business. The sandy soil and the lake effect combine to make ideal growing conditions for many of the herbs they use in their products. All of their products are made by hand in their workshop in their straw bale farmhouse ~ except for the honey which is made by the bees!
